South Korean SK Group hopes to invest in three liquefied natural gas power generation projects in Vietnam

On May 30th, Vietnam News Agency reported that South Korean SK Group stated during a meeting with Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi yong that the group hopes to invest in three liquefied natural gas projects in Vietnam and deploy comprehensive energy solutions in Vietnam. Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Yong stated that Vietnam welcomes SK Group's projects. For the development of energy industry clusters, the Ministry of Finance has collected opinions from various ministries, industries, and localities and reported them to the Premier. It has also proposed solutions to address the difficulties related to liquefied natural gas projects in Yi'an Province and Qinghua Province. In addition to the energy sector, SK Group also supports Vietnam in training semiconductor engineers.
