The year 2025 marks the inaugural year of the explosive growth of artificial intelligence. Innovation has become the core competitiveness of enterprises. Only enterprises with innovation capabilities can thrive, while those without will face a bleak future. As an established player in the energy equipment industry, Yahuawei is no exception and is on the path of exploring innovation.

In 2022, at the request of engineers from the Nuclear Industry Design Institute, our company participated in the conceptual design of a multi-medium gas proportioning mixer for the high-temperature component test center of heavy-duty gas turbines. In 2023, we further took part in the technical scheme design of gas storage tank vaporization and pressure regulation for fire-fighting applications in the naval damage control training cabin.

These new projects and technologies have also posed a significant challenge even for seasoned professionals like us. The equipment is required to withstand high temperatures and high pressures; for instance, the flange connections of a single mass flow meter and pneumatic control valve are extremely large, which speaks volumes about the technological difficulties involved. Therefore, continuous learning and innovation represent the unremitting pursuit of the enterprise.

In April and May this year, we accomplished a pioneering project: designing and fabricating a complete set of gas transmission and distribution process equipment for a professional college. This system covers all major gas types in China, including process equipment for three major gas sources: pipeline natural gas, compressed natural gas (CNG), and cryogenic liquefied gas.

The process flow encompasses gas source storage, distribution and compression, pigging sending and receiving, filtration and separation, ultrasonic metering, primary pressure regulation, secondary pressure regulation, odorization, reheating, skid-mounted pressure regulation for industrial and civil use, LNG vaporization, CNG pressure reduction, LPG filling, and demonstration of residential and commercial gas appliances. The system is finally equipped with an intelligent gas platform for signal transmission and a PLC central control system.

It can be regarded as the most systematic demonstration and operation control platform for gas transmission and distribution equipment in China at present. Teachers from various professional colleges and universities are welcome to visit, study and exchange ideas, so as to promote technical exchanges, scientific research and teaching in the oil and gas gathering & transportation and gas transmission & distribution industry.
